At key stage 3 our students follow the National Curriculum ICT strategy in preparation for taking the QCA online test in year 9. They have one discreet ICT lesson per week.

Currently all students study for the full GCSE in ICT at Key Stage 4. Students follow the Edexcel scheme of work and produce 4 pieces of coursework worth 60% of their final marks, and sit a final exam worth 40% The school uses the Information Systems for You by Stanley Thornes to support learning.

At sixth form level we offer the new Applied GCE in ICT. Students are require to produce e-portfolios rather than print work. The GCE is equally weighted between 4 internally assessed units and 2 externally assessed exams. Students use the Information & Communication technology for Edexcel Applied AS level single award by Hodder Murray to support learning.
